Well, howdy!

My name is Cali Clifton. And no, my name is not short for California.

An NYC transplant hailing from Arkansas (woo pig sooie!), I identify as a renaissance woman. I also identify as a multi-hyphenate artist, being an actor, writer, singer, comedian and a few other positions in the world of the performing arts.

I was a shy, scared, and overstimulated little girl. But the live reenactments of Barney I would direct and act out in my childhood bedroom would probably have you thinking otherwise. Acting out what I saw on TV then turned into writing long scripts as young as eight years old, filming scenes on a Flip camera with my friends, to auditioning for plays in high school and becoming hooked, to graduating with a BA in Theatre Performance from the University of Arkansas. Additionally, my time in the Self Generated Theatre Intensive at the Stella Adler Studio allowed me to curate original material professionally, in both solo and ensemble works.

When I'm not doing my *^~thing~^*, you're most likely to find me at a concert, thrifting, a bookstore, walking at least three miles, curating a mean crockpot soup, watching a movie/tv show that I've been wanting to see but haven't watched yet, or hanging out with my friends and family.

I'm based in Manhattan and am currently seeking representation. If you have any questions and/or inquiries, feel free to click on that contact page! Thanks for visiting my site and come back now, ya'll hear?
